Lenovo Outlet Returns Policy:
  • Request for return must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
  • Returned products are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee that will be deducted from the refund of your purchase price.

Where can I view the status of my warranty?

Does Lenovo Outlet allow tax-exempt purchases?

Lenovo Outlet offers an extensive array of new, refurbished and scratch & dent Lenovo products at discounted prices. All of our used products are refurbished in-house and tested to meet original specifications.

What are the differences between product "conditions"?

New - Products that are discontinued, overstocked, or returned unopened. These items are in their original factory sealed packaging and have never been used or opened.

Refurbished - Products that are returned opened and have possibly been used. These items are certified to meet Lenovo's new product specifications. They may have minor cosmetic wear that does not impact performance or quality.

Scratch & Dent - Products that are also Refurbished, but may feature more minor to moderate cosmetic wear. As with Refurbished items, any cosmetic wear does not impact performance or quality.

What is the difference between an Idea, Think and Essential system?

Lenovo groups systems into three distinct categories: Idea, Think and Essential.

How long will items stay in my shopping cart?

Items will be removed from your cart after 15 minutes of cart or checkout inactivity. Updating your cart resets the 15 minute window. However, after 60 minutes your cart will be emptied regardless of activity. Additionally, items are automatically removed from the cart if you close your internet browser.

If I'm a Lenovo approved reseller can I place tax exempt orders on Lenovo Outlet?

Lenovo Outlet purchases are not intended for resell and are not eligible for tax exemption.

Does Lenovo outlet price match?

At Lenovo we are committed to giving you the best possible prices that are eligible to change daily. In doing so, we are unable to offer any price protection on current or future Lenovo Outlet products. As well, we are unable to price match product from competitors, retailers, or third party vendors.

Does Lenovo outlet guarantee inventory availability?

Lenovo Outlet is dedicated to ensuring that all inventory offered is fully accurate and available. With that, we cannot guarantee inventory on all outlet orders. I received a message stating my eCoupon is not valid, what do I do?

Ensure you are entering the eCoupon correctly as they are case-sensitive. Other potential issues include:
- eCoupon has met quantity limit (e.g., only valid for 250 unique users).
- eCoupon may have expired.
- eCoupon may not be valid for product you are attempting to purchase.

Lenovo Outlet offers free standard shipping and handling through UPS on nearly all products. Standard delivery orders generally arrive 4-5 days after your estimated ship date.

How do I check my order status?

The delivery estimate is an approximate date by which you should expect to receive your new Lenovo item(s). This date should not be taken as a firm indication of when your package will arrive.

Will Lenovo Outlet confirm my order?

A confirmation e-mail is automatically generated and sent to your designated inbox upon placement of any order with Lenovo Outlet.

Do I have to be present at time of delivery to receive my package?

Yes, Lenovo uses UPS as its standard carrier for all deliveries. UPS policy requires a signature for delivery to be made.

Can I change the delivery address of my order?

You may change the delivery address of your order if it has not yet been received by our warehouse. Once our warehouse has received an order, the delivery address cannot be altered.

Note that your order will be delayed if the shipping address is altered.

What payment methods can I use?

Lenovo Outlet offers a variety of payment options for purchases made on outlet.lenovo.com, including:

Why is sales tax applied to my purchase?

Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

How do I return an item?

To begin the return process, please fill out and submit a Return Merchandise Authorization form. A member of our Sales team will then contact you to initiate your return.

Please note that any authorized return must include the product and all accessories in their original packaging, along with all documentation (i.e., invoice, RMA and original shipping label), and must be received at the Lenovo National Return Center within 10 days of obtaining the RMA. Returns that do not follow these steps will be refused by Lenovo. Customer assumes risk of loss and damage for packages returned without an RMA.

When will I be credited for merchandise I have returned?

How do I get a replacement manual?

System manuals are available online at our support site. Simply click User Guides & Manuals and you can locate a variety of manuals for your specific system model by searching keywords, browsing all products, or allowing our auto-detect tool (Internet Explorer required) to determine your system's model and generate related material automatically.

Due to our green-minded business practices, hard copies of system manuals are not available by mail from Lenovo.

Why should I purchase an extended warranty?

Lenovo's extended warranty options provide affordable and lengthy protection for your new Lenovo system(s). Lenovo's base warranties range from 1-3 years and are included with all Lenovo systems, these provide protection from factory defects and other non-user incurred issues. Extended warranty periods range from 1-5 years and protect your investment in a variety of ways (dependent upon warranty type selected) including on-site repair, a dedicated phone line to avoid customer support queues and protection from accidental damage.

Can I let Lenovo know how I feel about my product?

Do I need an account to checkout?

When finalizing a purchase on outlet.lenovo.com, new users may choose to create an account or checkout as a guest.

When checking out as a guest, you will be required to insert your billing and shipping address, as well as an e-mail address to which Lenovo Outlet will send status updates regarding your order.

The guest checkout tool is a convenient and speedy method of checkout when making a one-time purchase. Your billing and shipping information will not be stored by Lenovo.com when using guest checkout, meaning that this data will have to be re-input for all future purchases made on outlet.lenovo.com.

How do I create an account?
